How Much Attention Should You Give Your Newborn?

Do you have a newborn and a toddler and worried about how much attention either is getting?

My rule is 90/10 when it comes to how much time you should be spending with your toddler versus your new baby. Some people think it's 90% with the baby, but in reality, it is 90% with your toddler.

By doing this, you are setting your toddler up to have less resentment toward the baby.

Babies do not need to be entertained (per se), especially if you have a toddler as your toddler easily entertains them. They really just like looking around and listening to what is going on. The world around them is exciting enough.
