Strategies to Help ADHD

Do you or a family member or friend suffer from ADHD?

I get so many questions about this. It was a struggle for me and I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia (now known as Reading Disorder) until I was fifteen. Over the years I have come to find what works for me and I looked into more natural remedies as well. This doesn't work for everyone and every situation is different and of course you should always work with your doctor!

Some strategies I use:
1) Everything always has a place.
2) Having a routine/structure is key. And including some form of physical activity keeps me sane.
3) Learning how to study was really important: preparation, color coded binders, etc.
4) Knowing how I work (ie I like to listen to instrumental music because it helps drown out the other noises I hear) .
5) Check lists are so important for me - for example, going through what things I need when I leave the house. I have this by my door when I leave so I don't forget things. Though my 5 year is very good at reminding me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Some of the natural remedies that I like to take: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I like Matcha because it doesn't jolt me as much as coffee. When I was in grad school I was drinking 3 triple shot espressos a day... definitely not good for me, but I choose to only look forward 😉 .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I like to include in my @piqueteamatcha:
