If not, I highly recommend it! While most of you know I am not a fan of plastic, Teflon (a type of PFAS) made of a toxic chemical that is unfortunately present in many of our everyday products and has been linked to cancer in both humans and animals. I get a lot of questions about cookware. First and foremost if it's possible do NOT use any type of non-stick pan. And unfortunately there is no such thing as a 'green' nonstick pan. That said, cast irons are non-stick as long as they are properly maintained. The other thing I also cook with is stainless steel. .
